Those who complain about summon limit are those who uses one turn special summons into link summon into synchro summons, into having a full field full of omni-negates and never let other players even play the game.

There really needs to be a summon limit. Most of us came to play and not watch you summon all night until it's time for bed.

I don't see the problem. If summoning multiple monsters to make an unbreakable board full of omni negates is a win condition then preventing that is one too.

But special summoning has gotten to the point of being toxic as well, most floodgates were made so slow down decks that special summon half their deck and 3/4 of their extra deck in one turn. Special summoning would be a lot more accepting if it had limitations to keep the game in balance. Not to mention spitting an entire field of monsters with free negates and disruptions for literally no cost.

It is interesting to see the state of yugioh, on the one hand who have people wishing special summoning felt special cause it’s mostly used, but on the other hand it opens the chance for such minor cards in the old days like the ones that prevent special summoning to shine cause back then special summoning wasn’t too common it’s a conflicting feeling

Honestly there needs to be more anti special summoning monsters and traps.

Every time I see people complain about Summon limit or Pachy Dyna I think of the DBZ abridged scene with Vegeta wanting to go super saiyan. “I wanna, I wanna special summon, it’s not fair” 😂

With Summon Limit, there's no way it should be banned.
Yugioh USED to be about the back and forth exchange, now it's "sit and wait 5 minutes for your opponent to have their turn, and set up a near unbeatable combo, then good luck!"
