Hotel Akureyri is a super charming hotel, with an artsy, hipster style. The recently renovated building was once Iceland’s first movie theater, and the reception reflects that classic cinema style. There’s a laundromat, cocktail bar, and pool table in the swanky lobby. They also have a lovely breakfast buffet with local hams, cheeses, and Icelandic cakes. The rooms are spacious and artfully designed, with comfortable beds and a Dyson hairdryer. Ours even had an electric guitar! 🎸 #shorts #shotoniphone
