GROUPBY and PIVOTBY functions instead of Pivot Table in Excel

Easily analyze data in Excel without using Pivot Tables! Here are the new GROUPBY and PIVOTBY functions in Excel for Microsoft 365, that can be used to analyze data and prepare reports in Excel, without using Pivot Tables. These functions are dynamic, which means that any change in the source data is reflected instantly in the results of these functions; you need not refresh the result manually.

For earlier versions of Excel, you still need to use Pivot Table.
