Yelan is another seemingly simple character with optional advanced techs, combos, and playstyles! Squeeze the MOST out of your Yelan's damage by improving your combo game with her! This guide is focused around an F2P Constellation 0 Yelan but higher constellation Yelan owners can also apply these concepts.

Hi I believe you’ve messed up the calcs a bit. You only counted 1 dmg instance per Q tick (8.28%HP per Q tick) instead of 3 dmg instance per Q tick (24.84%HP per Q tick).
For the base E Q N… combo, we go from 174, 61%HP (E + Q skill + 15 Q ticks) as you calculated to 423, 46%HP with 3 dmg instances per Q tick

Something people may not know, her E applies hydro after the skill finishes, not during. So you can activate xiangling ult, swap to yelan, Naruto run around and tag everyone with pyronado, then become a vape god.

I’m really glad Yelan actually has tech that we can practically use. Unlike Yae Miko who is animation locked in everything she does.

Ive done the sac bow stuff. Its a lot of fun to be able to just tie up groups of enemies over and over again in the abyss while doing BTB attacks.

I really wanna see someone do a comp with yae, yelan, xingqiu and klee see their cults and yae's turret thingies will basically attack by themselves.

For people having C1 or using Sacrificial Bow you can in a standard rotation do 2 E procs in rapid succession and are able to use the burst right away. That way you can catch all 8 particles during the burst animation and can switch to the next character without losing any time. And with about 200ER you have guaranteed full energy on cooldown even against a single enemy. For that reason, I prefer the Sac bow over the Favonius warbow.

This is perfect for Yelan mains! I suppose it's harder to think about the calcs if you consider all team members too, but at least we know how to max her personal damage!

The crazy part is, you can do ungga bungga with yelan and she will still perform well, she's that good.

I really enjoy using Yelan. She's a very flexible character who rewards technical play, and reminds me of Rosaria in that way a lot. Don't just use her as a XQ 2.0 burst bot, you're missing out if you do!
