Sackboy: A Big Adventure is a 2020 platform game developed by Sumo Digital and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment for the PlayStation 5 and the PlayStation 4. A spinoff of the LittleBigPlanet series, it follows Sackboy, and features 3D platforming as opposed to 2.5D in previous entries. It was announced at the PlayStation 5 reveal event, which was live-streamed across the internet on June 11, 2020. It was announced to also release on the PlayStation 4 in a blog post on September 16, 2020, with it being released on November 12, 2020 in North America and Oceania, and November 19, 2020 worldwide.

Dont get me wrong, this is a great game but it will never beat what the lbp franchise was, from lbp1 to 3 from karting to ps vita editions it just dont feel right. It misses that Creativity itch and the power to be able to interact with other people online and share ideas. Lbp4 would be a great addition to the franchise but im sorry to say but i doute itll ever happen. As much as i wish for it, it just seems like they lost interest in the whole creativity thing. Dreams was never as successful as the original lbp games. For now lbp will live in my child hood. Oh how i wish for a remaster or a 4 in the future.

This.. it just doesn’t have the original feeling to it. It’s no longer 2d anymore. Idk man it’s just not my type of style for a game that used to be 2d from the beginning.

I love how this game almost seems like a prequel to the whole series, and how Vex could have very well caused the existence of almost every single other LBP villain. When he is defeated, he mentions how there will always be nightmares. Those nightmares could easily the uproar corrupting the world, such as making the Collector evil, or simply creating evil creatures like the Hoard, the Titans, and the Negativitron, the latter having a similar corruptive influence to the Uproar.

I played this game all the way through with two players locally, and I really enjoyed it. Definitely one of my favorite games on PlayStation 4. I will say I never played the previous LittleBigPlanet games, but I do intend to. I find that this game is very similar to Super Mario 3D World on Wii U and Switch, and in many ways is a direct copy, but is a far better game than those. I like that there is no time limit, the environments are so detailed, my fiance and I liked finding custom pieces and customizing our character, etc. I think they did a great job on this game, but everyone will have their own opinion.

I Miss Stephen Fry, It's a big change but I think I can live with it
