The 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona and 2024 Dodge Daytona Sixpack have been officially unveiled. One is a powerful 670HP electric "muscle car" with all wheel drive, and the other with the Hurricane turbocharged inline 6 cylinder. Under a lot of pressure Dodge claims that they were no longer able to make V8 Dodge Challengers or Chargers anymore - so they had to come up with a different solution. if i remember correctly from the last time i worked on a brand new grand wagoneer, there is legitimately no dipstick. no way to check the oil level, without running the car until it’s warm, then letting it sit with the battery on for 10 minutes. and they are notorious in our shop for throwing low oil level lights for no reason, then being extremely picky about clearing the light. i’m personally genuinely disinterested in anything involving that kind of “innovation.” to be honest though, i’m disinterested with every dodge after working on them.
