Best decades on planet Earth 😊😊 I just turned 16. My future husband just came back from Vietnam. He was 20
We were way older then.
First thing he played was Gimme Shelter
Next was Steve Miller Saving Grace
Next was the Savoy Brown album in its entirety.
I fell in love.
He had a 350 Honda he used to pull my school bus over for me to get off!😂
Got married 1973.
We built a chopper together at night when he got out of the steel mill and me out of the sewing factory. A 49 Panhead, leaked oil like crazy ❤ Extended forks, springer, pull back handle bars, king and queen seat. My hot pants, halter and boots 😊
People used to think we were outlaws, now they have bike weeks 😂😂
Years and years later, living in WV and successful, kids have grown and left, yay. I surprised him with a 97 Heritage Springer Softtail. Gorgeous. We had wonderful adventures, rode many many miles, until he passed from a cancer in 2006❤️❤️❤️BUT...I sold our house and had it made into the most beautiful trike in 05, so that he could ride before he passed.😊❤
They were the absolute best decades on Earth. Now happy and retired, i LOVE having this music so available on YouTube. It's really nice to listen to it again. Brilliant musicians.
