Self made is an illusion my friend.
It’s true that you must put in the effort obviously, but there are a lot of things that we need everyday and we have to get them from other people. So it’s a team effort. It always has been

So a rich person is self made, the same as a poor person? They have the same opportunities, similar starting points, same trajectory? 🤔
Self made means effort, sacrifice. I just can't see that a rich kid getting a million dollar loan from his dad in his 20's & becomes successful is the same as some poor kid from the slums who makes it even though he or she had to study by candle light.
I don't know your background but I suggest you show the respect to those who have to work harder. Sometimes its not easy to stay motivated when the deck is stacked against you.
But I get it, you need to w work hard to make it, nothing in life is easy. Nothing worth getting is given to you.
