I work in surgery: every skin cancer we remove, the patient always expresses their regret about sun exposure and not using sunscreen. Not once have I heard someone mention they regretted using sunscreen. And the melanoma patients are getting younger and younger 😢

Amen! I am 50 and people regularly think I am in my mid 30s because I started wearing broad spectrum sunscreen, spf 30 on the daily when I was 13. When people say it is dangerous I ask why and then the nonsense starts. Thank you for using silence to speak so loudly about the facts! What products do you use for makeup? You are fantastic❤️

There was a bunch of Johnson & Johnson spray sunscreen recalled a while back because they had high levels of Benzene which can cause leukemia (aka cancer of the blood cells), anemia and other blood disorders, so yes some sunscreens can cause cancer.

I have a friend who refuses to use anything from Johnson & Johnson bans after the number of times their products have been recalled or been in a class action lawsuit. It makes things harder and I'm sure there are things that are safe in there, but I don't begrudge the approach.

A lady I know, who is a NURSE, tried to tell me that sunscreens were more dangerous than sun exposure and sun burn so she doesnt use them on herself or her kids. She said the "chemicals" were toxic and deadly and "skin cancer is treatable, do you even know anyone who's died from skin cancer".
