Love the outdoor work. Nice and physical. Heck, you'll have those logs down by the bottom in no time. Scraping those trees is a chore that will wear you out, but you'll sleep good. You definitely got this! 😊 Liked the Hobbit House. Full-watch and have a good weekend. Later

Lots of work ahead! Do you have any power tool you can use to debark the logs? At 9:30 we got a good view of how steep is that hill! At7:37, I had to look twice. You lifted that whole log from the ground! Being so far from the tractor, the front end must have felt light! Thanks!

Mornin Kirk! Ya got more ambition then I do stripping that bark, lol. Been curious, noticed in prior videos you don’t seem use the auto throttle-up on your tractor. I have the same tractor, but grand L, and LOVE the feature. Seems the best thing to happen to hydro drive. Just wondering...

Thanks, for a good look at the Farmi winch in action. In my shopping, I am developing a respect for the Farmi winches!
Have you considered, a chainsaw-powered debarker? Might save a lot of effort.

You may have explained it in another video but pulling one rope activates the winch, what does the second rope do?

Great video, Kirk. I’m curious what the diameter and length (and species) of the largest log you picked up with the grapple. I know these red pines are high but I remember seeing you lift some huge maples in a prior video (cut from your neighbor if I remember. The reason I ask is to get a sense of what the LA805 loader will actually lift. It looks to me to be well over the spec! I have the same one but haven’t been into anything that big yet.
PS. Is that hobbit house where your better half sends you when you misbehave?
