I'm speechless! What an articulation, phrasing, effortless meaning! In Smaro's hands Bach makes absolute sense! Brava Maestra!

Instead of creating what could easily be a boring piece, you draw in the listener beautifully with every note and phrase. Such a wonderful touch!

Personally I do not understand how 65 people did not enjoy this. I highly doubt that the majority of them play this any better if anywhere near as well as she does.

I want to buy that guitar. Incredibly clear phrasing, perfect tone through out. The interpretation goes straight to the heart. 64 thumbs down. Really? What pansy wagon did you all ride in on?

Smaro's interpretation of this and the allemande has changed the way I play Bach.

I love the tone of Fleta guitars. They exemplify what a classical guitar should sound like.

The fingers of her right hand have all the grace of a guitar goddess has descended!

her musicality is very good, but her tone and superficial sounding of the strings do bother me enough. She is a deep musician I have come to respect over the years. But is her way and she has every right to do it. Thank you for the video!

Within the bounds of common sense, and good taste, and with a general respect towards the intentions of the composer, a piece of music is what the musican chooses to make of it. If the musician is talented, knowledgable, and sensible, let them play it their way. If he/she meant to play it this way or that, they don't need your permission. You are certainly free to like or dislike. You are not free to demand and pontificate.

Anyone know what that support is? It looks nice and seems to be designed to help project sound

A sarabande is a slow dactylic rhythm. The feel, whether written as such, is 3/4, with a marked rest or sustain on the third beat. Almost none of those who play baroque sarabandes seem to have any clue that these were actual, rhythmic dance patterns, even when slow as a sarabande. All I hear here is a skilled performer who has no sense of what she's playing.
