The crazy thing is the one found in Vietnam. The French spent what 20 years fighting there, we spent like 12 years fighting there etc and it was so deep you could fit the empire state building inside and had its own climate. How did no one discover it for as long as it went undiscovered with some much time spent by different people traveling all over thd country for decades

Sinkholes are common in the region, because the land sits on easily dissolved bedrock. Hang Son Doong cave even has its own climate and greenary, trees etc.
