Chris Whitty: UK 'not out of the woods yet' and Covid-19 pandemic 'has got a long way to run'

Professor Chris Whitty, Chief Medical Officer for England, says the UK is “not out of the woods yet” and the public should approach the end of coronavirus restrictions on Monday with caution.

He said during an interview with the Science Museum that there’s “a long way to run” worldwide in terms of reaching the end of the pandemic.
