Personally have no interest in this camera but I came to learn about this camera from Ken Rockwell. I have been learning from Ken since 2003! Thanks Ken!

I loved your YouTube content over the past couple years! Glad to see you’re okay and back at it, I’ve kept up with your text reviews but wished they had a video accompaniment as they’re a lot of fun. Can’t wait to see what you do next!

Ken, I really enjoy you videos and written reviews, especially the old 35mm film camera reviews. You should do some old camera reviews on your youtube channel. People would love that. More young people are getting into the 35mm film photography movement, the should have a good teacher.

Wishing you a full recovery for your arm! Really liked the live streams you did in the past!

Love reading articles on your website, Ken! Really enjoyed the pieces on simplicity, film and what makes a great photo. Got back to film because of your work. Now my most treasured photos were all shot on film while out with only one lens. Magic!

Great to see another video from you, Ken. I would love to see some 35mm/film content on here, that would be excellent. Looking forward to seeing more.

This should be the successor to the M50. However, if you have the m50, and the superb 32mm 1.4 lens, there is almost no reason to jump up into the RF line (apsc) until they port that lens over.

The M cameras perform just fine, and it makes no sense to me why they did not just port their existing lens formulas from the M exactly over to this cam. For the price and size, the M lenses are excellent performers, and there ain't nothing wrong with the 24mp and 32mp M sensors.

Thanks for the excellent reviews as always.

04:42 in r10 unfortunatelly there is not a simple spring mechanism in battery lid. but now I noticed that r50 has it.

How do you make still shots look so good in your videos?

Ken, congratulations for such a great review! I have a Nikon D5100 for 12 years already and wanted to do an upgrade to something smaller and modern especially for travel pictures, portraits and my kids doing sports like skateboarding. I am seeing good offers for the M200 (that was replaced by series R) and a reasonable price (almost double) for the R50, with the RF-S 18-45mm + RF-S 55-210mm. What out of those 2 do you believe is a better investment? (Probably, just like my D5100, I will stick with it for a good while). And if you would go for the R50, are those lenses good options or I should look in more detail into other available options? (Like in my Nikon, I love the 35mm for portraits.)

Hi Ken Rockwell, lets admit you have a problem with affiliate links. I recently *tried* to browse your website and found every link is an affiliate link, so much so that B&H started blocking me with the 'press and hold bot check'. Yes, every link to your review seemingly was an affiliate link, and B&H assumed I was a stupid bot to try and click SOOO many times for one simple review in 5 minutes.
I do like your honest reviews, but you are TOO honest about wanting a piece of the purchase pie that your site is no longer navigable.
