I bought Deaths Gambit : the Afterlife Edition on physical and it truly is an awesome game. It scandalously robs a lot from Dark Souls - kinda like Blasphemous but it's more metroidvania: more mobility, more upgrades, more weapons, more abilities etc. and you can adjust your style of play to more hack n slashy or more technical. I'm really enjoying it.

Phoenotopia Awakening is great, bought it last week on this channel's recommendation. The characters are charming and the gameplay is fun. Mostly been fishing and cooking to save up money, but I've had a great time. Just got the crank lantern so now I'm exploring dark caves and finding a new fishing spot in one of them.

Furi has been on my radar for a while. I might have to get it for such a good price!

R.I.V.E is very under-rated. It's definitely inspired by Metroid in some elements, however I found it a lot easier to navigate than the likes of Metroid Dread (which I'm finishing up as we speak).

This game can be tough at times but I always found it to be fair. Any time I messed up, I know it was because of me and not the game. Still one of my favorite games I've downloaded from the eShop, almost 2 years after buying my Switch.

R.I.V.E. kind of looks like that flash game Motherload, but instead of drilling underground to mine minerals in your tank, you're crawling around like a spider blowing stuff up. Neat.

I picked up death gambit afterlife after watching your review on it and absolutely loved it! I know there is a bit of a argument about whether or not the game should have just been released in a fantastic state but I think it's really important to support developers that support their content after it's release. Also the new segment... it's amazing!
