Someone else may have already said that, but I wonder if the "dirt" in your iron is mineral build up from the water when you use the steam function? Mine does that sometimes. I'm not sure the best way to clean it, but sometimes if I think it may be an issue I turn it on to the steam setting then use the "steam boost" button or whatever it is that forces it to steam and that usually blasts the deposits out. Hope that helps!

Aww, the skin color is very nice! I recently ordered my first tan doll, too. I still can't quite imagine a faceup for her though. Kuromi is super cute! I love that this isn't just typical Christmas stuff.
