To those still telling Duncan to “get in the gym”:
He’s addressed this multiple times that just because he’s doing something you can publicly view, does not mean he’s taking it away from his gym time. Rather than spending this portion of his spare time on wine tasting, or going to the club, or video games, or watching Netflix, or whatever other hobbies a player might have, he allocates it to the podcast.

Furthermore, since the beginning of December, he is averaging over 3 threes per game on near-40% 3PT% (3.1 threes on 39.4% since December 3rd, to be exact).
It’s no secret that Duncan had a bumpy start to the season, having been in a pretty long shooting slump. But he’s broken out of it a while ago and is playing well. If anyone was expecting him to be averaging 20ppg and have become a Klay Thompson or Khris Middleton type of player simply on the premise that he was paid a big contract, then you simply have unrealistic demands, do not understand why the Heat paid him that contract, and do not understand what drives value in the NBA market.
He has been doing what he is paid to do, in spades.

First, the offense needs to get back to moving the ball to get Duncan shots instead of running him around screens.
Second, Duncan doesn’t need to step toward the 3 line so much. He has shown the range, but has been stepping in this year and helping the defenders.

I said the same thing about Bam and even though he miss 6 weeks still shut my ass up on his performance. So I’ll ask is your performance worth 98 million after watching max or if Kyle guy gets opportunity and Tyler 6 man of year. I’m a shooter after a certain point it’s all muscle memory no matter what hand in your face tightened the fuck up for this championship run
