This is the way I close up our Zip Dee awning on our Airstream.

A handy tip for cleaning the awning is to keep the sides latches in the first hole, then put the awning up. This raises the awning off the roof so you can clean under the awning where it normally lays on the roof. This also exposes the first section of the top fabric so standing on a ladder you can clean where it gets dirty on the very top.

For those of us who don’t travel with a ladder it may be helpful to demonstrate using the actual pole Airstream provides specifically for grabbing the center tabs on the awnings, for tightening the wheels, and for latching the safety hook.
