John Conlee delivers a soulful, captivating rendition of the beautiful Mickey Newbury arrangement "An American Trilogy" before a "SRO" capacity crowd in the Main Grandstand at the 1986 Illinois State Fair in Du Quoin, IL. John and his band "Carolina Fever", received a thundering standing ovation at the numbers conclusion. ***(Credits Correction: Greg Sides was actually on Keyboards and John Gardner was on Drums. My apologies to both Greg and John for this oversight.)***

I heard him sing this in the early nineties at Billy Bobs! It is one of the greatest renditions!
