I think Worlds is fine, but larger open tournaments like StarCraft would be really neat. Trying to distill high quality gameplay through qualification obviously doesn't produce high quality games, and it doesn't give other teams the international platform to sponsor. Of course winners would make more from sponsors with results. It's also an opportunity for more narratives to build themselves.

LPL is blg one trick though. They haven’t been better than LCK for a good 3-4 years now.

As an LEC fan since basically forever, don't waste that 2nd slot on EU. Neither Fnc nor BDS are gonna do anything. BDS will win against worse teams and just straight up loose against any top 6 team from China or Korea while Fnatic will look good against the top teams in some Bo1s and tank against a random wildcard because Humanoid decided that they aren't worth his time.

This is why I can't get behind Dom, he doesn't give a fuck about the esport growing globally, or the fans that come from/support these minor teams, he just wants his favourite LPL teams to play against eachother, and I get it, there are some great teams from that region, but maybe just stick to the LPL then...
