The color scheme on the second one is more pleasing to the eye due to correct use of color theory. But the technique on the first one definitely works better to create that tie-dye effect.

It’s perfect….the 1st one… love all the colors, definitely speaks “Tye Dye”…. Fabulous. The second one is really pretty but it feels more like the marble look, they’re both great!❤😊

I think the purple smudges interfere roo much with the lighter colors. Both beautiful cakes
