1/2 Price Chipotle Burrito Bowl HACK!

Here is my hack on how I get a burrito bowl from Chipotle for just half the price. It includes a chip and drink! This is the perfect lunch size portion for me, and saves me a ton of money. I can rarely finish a whole burrito bowl.

I work at chipotle, not all locations will give you the tray, even if you ask for it. Instead you get the little side cups. Even if the prices are absurd, you might as well get a regular bowl anyways, since you get more and anything besides meat and queso/guac is free extra.

When I got bowls I look at it as 2 servings. I eat half then, put it away and eat the other half later. Breaks the cost in two because you get two meals out of it.

Same with Freebirds. You can get a half bird burrito but put whatever fillings you want. It's cheaper but still ends up being about the same as the regular sized burrito.

It's not the same amount as a regular bowl but still a good amount. I do this on my days at work when I'm not starving and on a budget. Gets the job done 👍🏼

I order a burrito bowl on the app and ask for half white half brown rice and same with the beans and a choice of meat. Then I add all the free toppings: lettuce, cheese, sour cream, fajita veggies, corn salsa, pico de Gallo, and green salsa. I ask for two tortillas. The total is always 11 dollars. I go home and make two huge burritos. One for me and one for my honey.. both burritos are stuffed to the max and I still have some left over filling!

As a former employee, this is actually the only hack I’ve seen that I’m good with. You didn’t make the store employees sit there and load up 5+ cups of sides and other bs. Definitely ask for the vinegarette next time tho. So yummy, and prepped at the beginning of everyday, so easy to throw in as they’re already poured into cups. Even another side of salsa or sour cream, cheese wouldn’t be too much to ask for. It’s the people who literally are so greedy and making us pour all those frigggin cups of sides forever that are so annoying. 🙄🙄🙄🙄
