This video will teach you how to convert minutes into fractional hours. We will look at how to convert times less than 1 hour into fractions of an hour and simplify these fractions. We will begin by looking at simple fractions of an hour 15 minutes as a fraction of an hour, 30 minutes as a fraction of an hour. We will then look at any number of minutes as a fraction of an hour.

You will learn that to convert minutes into fractional hours, you use the fact that 1 hour is 60 minutes and any minutes is a fraction out of 60 for hours.
