Fire Emblem Three Houses All Unique Dialogues of the Black Eagles Route excluding Edelgard, I made a separate Video for her.
For this video I finished the game many times & experimented & recorded different character combinations. After that I edited the Raw footage in a transformative manner to inform & educate the viewer about hidden dialogues.
As always: All footage played, recorded and edited by myself.

Shamir and Alois’s convo is a lot kinder than I expected. They truly respected each other. It fits Alois (and Shamir) so well tho.

The fact that Felix didn't even bother replying to Ashe in their dialogue makes it a 100 times more depressing for me

Everyone says that Felix joining the Empire doesn't make sense, and I agree that the way they wrote his interactions with his former companions in these battles makes it look that way, but I think it DOES make sense if you think about his history, and also what he would have witnessed having joined the Black Eagle House while at the academy. *SPOILERS* below for those who don't know Felix's backstory yet.

Felix's brother, Glenn, died during the Tragedy of Duscur attempting to protect Dimitri. Felix's father, Rodrigue, hails Glenn's sacrifice as a noble, just, and therefore good (albeit regrettable and tragic) thing. Felix has been bitter about this ever since it happened, particularly since he saw Dimitri go absolutely berserk and therefore considers Dimitri to be something of a monster (hence the derisive nickname, Boar Prince). Ever since then, Felix has been absolutely jaded about the concepts of knighthood and blind loyalty. He wants to be stronger since he genuinely enjoys swordplay, and also because he wants to (in his mind) overcome Glenn, who was his rival, but even at the academy he is decidedly NOT training simply to be Dimitri's knight. He's not interested in that.

With that being the case, Felix is an easy recruit to Black Eagles during the academy days because he values sword strength (which Byleth has), and because, let's be honest, the Black Eagles is overall a strong house. Edelgard is a tank on her own, Bernadetta destroys everything as a sniper (and in Felix's supports with her, has a "technique" he's curious about to disarm opponents), Linhardt is noted as a genius despite being lazy, Caspar is SUPER enthusiastic about training, and so on and so forth. Since Sylvain joins immediately if fem!Byleth is chosen, Sylvain signing up with Black Eagles could be another motivation for Felix since Sylvain IS his best friend (and they made a promise to die together ffs). It's not necessary for him to sign up, ofc, but it's not hard to see why Felix -- thinking academy days are just academy days -- could switch over to Black Eagles, thinking he'd get more out of that House than a House with a mage as a professor.

Then the Holy Tomb happens. Felix sees Rhea call for the deaths of Edelgard and Byleth without anything resembling a trial, sees her transform into the Immaculate One and try to murder all of them, and therefore sees with his own eyes that EVERYTHING Edelgard has been saying about Rhea and the Church is *true*. Doesn't mean he's totally happy with the Flame Emperor business, but it does mean that he can see that what Edelgard was saying had merit. The fact that Edelgard also wants to *destroy the system of the nobility* AND gives everyone the option *multiple times* to peace out and not join the Black Eagle Strike Force AND therefore also doesn't believe that knight = laying down your life for your liege lord no matter what also probably further convinced him that this was where he wanted to be.

But the final straw probably came when Rhea fled to Faerghus and Dimitri decided to support her No Matter What (and the same goes for Rodrigue et al). Edelgard sent out information about how Rhea is terrible, information that Felix KNOWS is true, but neither Dimitri nor Rodrigue nor anyone else on Faerghus' side will hear it, because they have staunch loyalty to the Church of Seiros given that the Church of Seiros helped Faerghus be established. Regardless of what the Church does, Faerghus sides with them. It's the *same blind loyalty* that Glenn had toward Dimitri, that Rodrigue championed, that Rodrigue wanted Felix to have (and Dimitri, Rodrigue, and Ingrid all bring this up when Felix confronts them). It's the same loyalty that Felix has hated ever since Glenn's death. Does NOT mean that he is HAPPY to fight against them, BUT it makes sense that he WOULD, even if the fact that things ended up the way they did still eats him alive after the fact. (Because that's the thing about, you know, being a person; sometimes there are hard situations where there are no easy or clean answers out of it.)

So imo, Felix being on the Empire's side during the war if he joined the Black Eagles while at school makes sense. It also makes sense that he's not entirely comfortable with it, particularly with regards to Ingrid and Sylvain (if neither joined Black Eagles as well). That's what makes the writing in this game so good: the characters are complex and three-dimensional, rather than just being tropes, and the story clearly had a lot of thought put into it.

As much as I love the Black Eagles....the Blue Lions definitely have the best within house interactions. They were such a tighter knit group from the beginning that it is so much harder to see them fight each other.
