What a beautiful way to relate our daily lives to the Holy Family! How comforting to feel their presence in our daily chores. To think of Mary making flatbread and weaving the precious natural fibers to create the fine fabric to hand-sew her SON's tunics. To imagine her cleaning their home and bathing herself and being so respectable and such a True Lady and Blessed Mother and Devoted Wife. The Holy Family living together just as we do, but SINLESS. They are our models, mentors, the ONLY HOLY & Perfect Family by which to design our own lives for our own SaintHood, prepared by THE ALMIGHTY FATHER .

This was the perfect homily to start my day. I struggle like many to get through my days without complaining. Lord Jesus help me to accept the things I must do today and to perform my tasks without complaining, with a great full heart that wants nothing more than to serve you by serving others. Amen.

Apparently (St) Joseph wasn’t a carpenter because there wouldn’t have been enough work for him in a small village. I believe the word has been mistranslated. He would have worked with wood, stone, and mud.
Also we Catholic’s have to STOP calling protestant’s Christian because there NOT. Jesus founded ONLY ONE CHURCH the ONE HOLY CATHOLIC AND APOSTOLIC CHURCH on the infallible Rock of Peter Two Thousand year’s ago! The Orthodox became Cults when they broke with Rome in 1054AD. Protestant’s belong to man made Cults which are Pagan and anti Christ. Pagan because they put their own false interpretation on sacred scripture which blasphemous and they reject the infallible Magisterium of the holy Catholic Church. Anti Christ because they reject the holy Catholic Church which IS Jesus Christ on earth! Watch Don’t call protestant’s Christian. Then the warning or illumination of conscience by Christine Watkins.
