BT-1 & BT-2 Bluetooth Module | DC HOME APP

The Renogy BT-1 is a great addition to any compatible Renogy solar charge controllers. Powered by its RJ12 communication port, the BT-1 provides wireless monitoring of system data through the DC Home smartphone App. And allows users to change parameters when using the DC Home App.

The Renogy BT-2 is a new generation of Bluetooth module for Renogy solar charge controllers, smart lithium batteries, inverters, and DC-DC MPPT Battery Chargers. Powered by its RJ45 communication port, the BT-2 provides wireless monitoring of the system data through the Renogy BT(Charge Controller Only) and Renogy DC Home smartphone App. And allows users to change parameters on the charge controllers when connecting to the DC HOME App.

Can I take a BT-2 and grind down the sides or re-terminate a RJ12 on the end and make it work with the charge controllers that have a RJ12 port?

Can anyone tell me if the bluetooth module is needed to make all of the internal adjustments on the Renogy Rover charge controller, or can I make the same adjustments using the buttons on the charge controller? Thanks in advance.

I have two Renogy 400 watt solar kits with 2x Wanderer Li 30A PWM Charge Controllers, Can i just buy 1 Bluetooth module for this setup and connect it to one of the controllers ( they are in parallel to my batter bank, then to a 4000 watt inverter), can the system me monitored this way. If not how can i monitor this setup with 2 controllers in parallel.

So many ppl complained about the B (bogus) T (trash)- 2 comms device, AND ALL RENOGY TOLD THEM TO CONTACT SUPPORT. WELL I CONTACTED SUPPORT TWICE AND STILL NO SOLUTION... WHAT A JOKE!

Can someone please explain to me what the settings mean on the Load screen? I use it for a very light load and it works all day but the load switch in the app turns off at night and I cannot turn it back on again. It never did this before I started using the BT-1 and I have no idea what the settings mean on the Load screen.
