Israel's pre-dawn strike on Iran marked one of its largest and most intricate air assaults to date. Dozens of aircraft, including advanced U.S.-made F-35 stealth jets alongside F-16 and F-15 warplanes, flew over 1,000 miles or 1600 km to hit multiple targets within Iran.

The operation followed Iran's launch of over 180 ballistic missiles toward Israel on October 1. 
Israel had pledged a strong response, which came in three waves, beginning at around 2 a.m. on October 26 and ending by 6 a.m., when the last Israeli jet returned unscathed.

This was an incredible feat is since Iran possessed several Russian made S-300 and S-400 batteries which should have inflicted some damage on the 4th generation  F-16 and F-15 combat aircraft, if not the 5th generation F-35s.
This was possible, partly because of IAF's excellent mission planning as well as the use of ammunition that enabled the warplanes to maintain a relatively safe distance

1. Is Iran capable of flying its air force 2, 000 km across hostile neighbors and conduct suppression of enemy air defenses like how Israel conducted? No.

2. Is Israel capable of launching ballistic missiles, cruise missiles and drones towards Iran like how Iran conducted against Israel? Yes.

Conclusion: Israel is capable of doing what Iran does but Iran is not capable of doing what Israel does.

There are only 2 nations in the world who have ever intercepted ballistic missiles in space in real time combat, Israel and the US. Thus it is a given that intercepting ballistic missiles is one of the most complex operation in all of the history of warfare since they travel at hypersonic speeds and fly at altitudes outside of earth's atmosphere, it is equivalent to hitting another bullet with a bullet. But what surprises us is that Iran couldn't even intercept fighter jets. Now that is a joke.

Iran has a total of 3, 000 ballistic missiles. Not all of them have the range to reach Israel. How many launchers does Iran have? 200-300? This means Iran is only capable of launching 200-300 ballistic missiles at a given time. So if 1/3 of their best weapons did nothing to Israel, they are in for a lot of trouble.

Rocks and golden horizon, not rampage. Rampage is a very fast yet not very sophisticated missile, compared to the golden horizon, and if i'm not mistaken, it is also not a balistic missile, while the golden horizon is if i'm not mistaken
