PHP & MYSQL Simple Chat Application (Part 5) - Refresh Message Window using AJAX

Previous video may have to be viewed to get to this point in the tutorial series.

This video continues on from previous videos. In this part I use AJAX to run a PHP script every 1 second to automatically refresh the message window.

Next part will focus on the sending of messages.

it is coming for me in the localhost but I'm not getting messages. It is successfully sending and updating database but not displaying. your Help much appreciated . pls???

after changing auto_chat messeges did not load

check the url in auto_chat.js it might be the problem.

it worked but there is an annoying refresh animation every 1 second. How can i get rid of that?
