Solution is a homogeneous mixture in which we can can't seperate the solute and solvent while suspension is a type of heterogeneous mixture in which solute and solvent can be seperated. Example of solution - filtered tea, soda water etc. And example of suspension - muddy water, mixture of chalk in water

Solution: ➡️homogeneous mixture
'Supspension:➡️ heterogeneous mixture
Solution :➡️ particles cannot be seen with naked eyes
Suspension : ➡️particles can be seen with naked eyes
Solution :➡️ path of light is not visible in solution
Suspension :➡️ path of light is visible
Solution : ➡️example- alloy, suger in water solution
Suspension :➡️ example- chalk/sand in water

solution : it is a homogeneous mixture, it cannot be diffenciated by using a fillterpaper . also the particles cannot be seen with naked eye.
for example: satl and water, sugar in water or filterated tea
suspension : it is a hetrogeneous mixture, it can be diffenciated using a filterate papae .the particles can be seen with naked eye.
for example : sand in water, calk in water ect.

q9 how can we differentiate solution from suspension?
ans: 1. the solution is a homogenous solution while the suspension is the heterogeneous solution.

2. the solution does not scatter the beam of light because the particles present in it are too small while in the suspension they show the Tyndall effect because the particles present in it are big.
3. for example in solution - sugar and salt in water, for example in suspension - sand and oil mixture.

For students who are in a hurry keep the speed at 1.5 or 1.25

Solution:
It has definite composition
Suspension:
It has one suspended phase
Solution:
Size 1nm
Suspension:
100nm more
Solution
Particles can't be seen by naked eyes
Suspension
Can be seen by naked eyes
Solution
Solute particles can pass through a filter paper
Suspension
The solid particles only separated by filter paper

9. Solution: A solution is a homogeneous mixture of two or more substances. It is a homogeneous mixture of solute and solvent. The solute particles are very small, i.e., less thank 10‐⁸cm in diameter. e.g.: Alloys, Alcohols in water etc.
Suspension: It is a heterogeneous mixture. The solute particles are quite large, i.e., larger than 10‐⁵cm in diameter. The particles are visible even with naked eye. e.g.: Mixture of chalk powder or sand in water etc.

a) Homogenous mixture
There components cannot be separated by filtration
Example - vinegar , air
b) Heterogeneous mixture
There components can be separated by filtration
Example- wood, oil

Thank you mam, the chapter is too clear to me and the answer for the question is
1)Solution :- solution is homogeneous,
Examples are salt water, sugar water, vinegar etc
2) Suspension:- suspension is not a homogeneous it's a heterogeneous
Examples are mud, muddy water etc

A solution is a homogeneous mixture of two or more substance
In which we can't differentiate it's solute and solvent particle it is difficult to separate them.
A suspension is a heterogeneous mixture in which solute particle does not settle down and can be seen by the naked eye.
