Heliosphere is a Canadian metal band based in Edmonton, Alberta. Formed in 2019, they began writing material almost immediately, taking advantage of the members’ varied musical backgrounds. They merge influences from 70s classic rock to contemporary metal to create a unique sonic brew, incorporating everything from cosmic, planet-hopping riffs inspired by the low ‘n slow doom greats to the soaring and driving vocals of the golden age of rock ‘n roll. In their debut single, Godhead, they combine these influences to great effect, resulting in a heavy-hitting juggernaut of a track sure to command the attention of the listener
