Dawg I almost died going 35 from just black speed bumps

Been there, done that. You feel like you're flying. On the right setup it's incredible.

No, I hurt myself after having to bail going 35 mph.
I live in San Fran and was doing a group ride. Me and this one guy got split from the group and so we were taking a detour through a street next to an open field park. We were going the speed limit of that road and crosswalks for pedestrians had extra stop lights. So it was a very safe road. Well, I saw a guy on the path starting to go across not using the sidewalk, he wasn’t paying attention. So going, 35+ I tried to swerve a bit just in case. Well… if you have ever used an electric board… you can get the speed wobbles. I noticed the wobbles and had to safely bail off my board.
Basically, it looked like I just walked normally off my board except I smashed into the ground going 35+ Luckily, I was wearing my motorcycle gear because it is sketch af normally going at speeds up to 45 mph. So I didn’t break anything and only got a minor scratch on my side.
The guy saw that it was his fault and I had to bail. He came up and apologized and felt bad. It was no problem really… if I got hurt I would have been more pissed. He knew he was in the wrong and was very sorry so it was all good.
The funny thing is, this guy was bopping to music as I bailed. He was in a car and I just popped up off the ground on the side of him. Bro definitely was a Chad and was like “You good”? I’m like yeah man. 10/10 guy 😅

Not anymore. I was doing 32mph on bike lane... in residential area.. a car right next to me did not see me and turned into his house.. I flew right into his passenger door. Luckily didn't get hurt. But knew I was gonna be sore the next few days. I pretended to be hurt. He offered $300, I told him $500 cuz he didn't have insurance. 😅

Been clocked at 60kmh going downhill. Just got my first electric. Hope it quenches my need for speed

I’ve been to 37 is my max. The most nerve-racking part is checking your speedometer in the middle of it 😰.

Technically currently trying to afford a bio board P2 so I can do 100kph❤️‍🔥 totally gonna wear protection with that one though. Once you get to a certain speed you generally just want more as long as it’s stable enough.

Yes I would. But I can't afford a board. I maxed out at 29 on mine and the board braked automatically because I was hill bombing and I was already past it's top speed

I have a B-one Titan X that will supposably do 37 mph. I will never find out if it does it because coming off the board at that speed is a certain recipe for eating shit!
