My entire interest in the TE brand hangs on the next firmware update. There are so many things the OP-Z could, and should have, been able to do from launch. I was an early adopter of the then-miraculous Yamaha QY-20, which in some ways could do in 1994 what the OP-Z still can't. I feel like I'm still waiting for the update that will catch the OP-Z up to its potential and up to everyone's expectations. OK, admittedly perhaps only *my* expectations, but can you blame anyone for having $600 expectations for a $600 device?

But yes, of course I *will* buy the new module, and for its allotted days on this earth, I *will* keep bringing my OP-Z with me everywhere, because it has no competition. (Except maybe the M8, before you protest, but I can't stand trackers) And also because I'm rooting for you guys. You are, after all, my home team.

Cool for people who use OPZ in a setup, but I was expecting some revamped sampling capabilities, like you know the elephant in the room... threshold sampling, for people who use Guitars with the Z instead of drum machines :D

I love what the opz can do. It's still my favorite hardware sequencer.

What makes it frustrating is the hardware buttons. It's so close to a perfect device for me, but that holds it back a bit.

Thanks for this new module, it is possible to route out the internal delay track or even an internal fx track and come back in the op-z, to create a feedback loop track (in the module track)? Ask for dub mixing purpose. Thanks

Hello, I’ve been wondering how to use OP-Z as a slave MIDI using sp404mk2 through MIDI thru box or how can I sync it with my other devices as Rd9, Microkog and Rd9. Thanks! Is it though oplab?

Does it fit into the case properly, unlike the CV module? I notice in the demo the base is missing from the op z.
