The weight limit was 50lbs last trip!! Not sure when they went up because it was January since we flew last :). Back packs are free and can be huge to carry on. Everyone brings a huge heavy back pack and they have never said anything :).

My parents from Chicago are retiring in Nicaragua Leon. And I am in the process of looking for vacant homes to renovate. Or homes for sale close to the brand new hospital. What do you recommend? I’m here in Fargo North Dakota right now. Cheers!!

Excellent info, as always! I am confused a bit still about keeping your phone number for third-party verification (for credit card use etc). If you change physical Sim cards don't you get a new number? Maybe people use specific kinds of Sims? Maybe you just have to get an international plan? Thanks!

Thanks, interesting video. I recently watched an excellent video from the guys at Emense Coffee Movement which dealt with Poneloya and the SOS Nicaragua project set up to protect turtles on a nearby island, numerous volunteers from across the world are involved. It highlights the contributions of non-Nicaraguans contributing to Nicaraguan society. I'd love to see you do some videos of this kind as well. Showing how expats/migrants contribute to Nicaragua would be great, it's not always about what Nicaragua can do for us, but also what we can do for Nicaragua. Thanks.

Hi Scott, thank you for this very informative video. I have a question with regards to car rentals. I am hoping you can help me with. We'll be arriving in Managua in November, do you recommend we rent a car straight from the airport? or from another car rental provider?

Spirit is not going to be flying USA to Nica from September until December apparently, just FYI. Ok, so you made this exact comment right after I posted this. 🤣

A lands sucks. Making reservations requires setting aside a day. They have messed up my flights many times. I've switched to American for my four trips a year to and from Miami.

I don't think Whatsapp is secure at all! lately I've been seeing a bunch of court cases that the prosecution has the conversation. even in the Hunter Biden case. I love the signal app. its way better with security and I have court records showing the Signal app refusing to give up conversations under a court order because the truly don't have that information! brother Scott great show!
