There is just something so special about Sammie in my book. Her voice is so pure and on point and that high note was amazing...

Nothing I enjoy more than Sammie singing lead on a country song. And with all the others lending their specific talents to the song, how can it NOT be another hit??!

It's impossible for this gang to disappoint; whoever is singing lead vocal is always perfect for the song. With this Faith Hill song, it has to be Sammie, backed with strong instrumentals, a driving beat, and the usual incredible harmonies you'd expect from F&F. "Awesome" has become almost a ho-hum expectation from this level of talent.

Of course the vocals are outstanding as we've come to expect from F&F. But I wanted also to mention something that's occurred to me many times in the past - Tim is an EXCELLENT engineer/producer, especially considering he is working in what is basically a glorified home studio and having to mix in remote performances with different room noises/eq settings, etc.

All the vocals sound great and pristine without any unintended distortion or bleed. The instruments all sound great as well and each can be heard distinctly in the mix. And I especially noticed the absolutely great drum sound you got on this track. Stellar.
