It's amazing how the classic 'sword and sandals' genre can produce epic successes like Gladiator and Spartacus (by Starz) but also epic damp squibs like Troy and Alexander (Farrel)... and this latest Hercules exercise.

You put the name "Hercules" on this movie, which is the Roman name for "Heracles", you make him a bloody gladiator, after that you show him back in Greece with "Hebe" who is the Goddess of Youth, but you made her mortal etc. etc. etc. Stop it!

And yet another movie scarring the greek mythology ... Why call it the legend of hercules when it had CLEARLY nothing to do with hercules? That's so stupid. I get that they are trying to give it an appealing name, but COME ON

I AM SO DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS FILM STORY, CASTING AND ACTING. HERCULES NAME IS SUCH A LEGEND AND TO PLAY ITS MAIN CHARACTER THE DIRECTOR FOUND THIS DWARF LOOKING CYLINDER GUY WITH NO ACTING SKILLS? THE ACTOR ISNT BUFFED LIKE HERCULES, GOT NO PERSONALITY, HAS NO CHARM AND LOOKS LIKE HE FORGOT TO TAKE HIS POLIO DROPS WHEN HE WAS A CHILD.
