Up_running Demonstration activities in Ukraine (video 1)

The international uP_running project aims to unlock the strong potential of woody biomass residues produced by agrarian pruning and plantation removals and to promote its sustainable use as energy feedstock.

Within the framework of the project, during the heating season 2017-2018, five demonstration projects on the energy use of these residues were implemented in different regions of Ukraine.

The demonstrations, as a collaboration between various stakeholders, has proven that energy utilization of residues can not only solve the problem of their accumulation, but also create additional added value for all value chain actors.

The results of the demo projects implementation are presented in the video.
