Mr.Sanjeev Sabhlok has, several years back, recommended State funding of elections in his book "Breaking Free of Nehru - Let's unleash India". This will permit good candidates to also contest. He also recommends the abolishment of the British Raj civil services format. This is a great book on governance reforms that needs to be adopted by India. I request Mr. Sardesai to interview Mr.Sabhlok on the issue.
