Riding Salem Lake Trail | Winston Salem NC

Salem Lake is arguably the most popular park in the Winston Salem area. The trail is wide, smooth with access to the Salem Creek Greenway.

Ride along with me as we start at the marina and go clockwise around the 7 mile 365 acre lake.

This is the "go to" trail in Winston Salem! It has great views of Salem Lake, surrounding woods, wildlife, the dam and views of the downtown skyline.

One of my favorite places to ride around Winston-Salem. It’s long enough for a good workout, has beautiful scenery, and the improvements to the lake over the years have been fantastic. A great place for anyone to walk or ride.

Wow that place has really changed since my last ride there about 10 years ago. The marina was small white building and Linville Rd was just a gravel lot with a water fountain. I've made so many rides and walks around it and out the greenway towards WS. I subbed earlier today after finding your video of the Piedmont Environmental Center.

There is also a mountain bike trail that's much rougher than this walking trail. Please pick up trash, if you see it; and, if you see someone littering, kick them in the crotch!
