Im going to have to disagree with you on the 2nd point. Men date for potential just as much as women imo. I know several men who have spoken about staying with their partner because of the potential they hold. e.g. eventually getting a better job, eventually becoming a more confident person, eventually having better mental health, etc..

Sure, i dont think anyone should stay with their partner if the other person is wanting them to become someone their not. But if a partner sees a good potential in you, something you are capable of doing/becoming, then why is that a bad thing?

Beautiful list. I will say though that some men also make the mistake of dating a woman and focusing on her potential rather than who she actually is. Thats a mistake we can all make when we are only emotionally driven and too afraid to let a person go when we know we should.

I agree with all but the last one. It is hard for people to prioritize what appears to be something simple. If that person is good at texting or calling in the daytime, should they be good at texting in the morning and the afternoon? The time parameters in that last note seem like it would turn off any man. It also seems wildly unromantic.
