Came here after watching the trailer for the new movie and this scene alone trumps the whole new trailer.

Theres something so deliciously edgey and goth about this scene. Batman broods on rooftops watching over Gothem. The Crow plays mournful guitar solos until sun rise. So iconic and unique. What a shame we only got one movie with this character.

this is really original, it's not every day you see a film that has a guitar solo to capture the pain and loneliness, then it picks up sort of angrily to get reminded of the pain and revenge, and then it just goes crazy...complete unrest, distraught, just dead but living, complete rancor.

People once believed that Hollywood was where epic stories originated, that when you sat down in a theater your soul would be carried to a land of wonder and dreams. But sometimes, something so bad happens to the stories you love that a terrible sadness is carried with it and your soul can’t rest. Then sometimes, just sometimes, only the original film can bring that soul back to put the wrong things right.

If the movies we love are stolen from us, the way to have them live on is to never stop loving the originals. Box offices burn, franchises die, but real love is forever.

RIP BL/ED.

This scene alone captured the heart and soul of the film

My take on the solo is that it represents Eric's former life. He's back, he can still rip on the guitar like he never missed a beat, but he's realizing that he can't stay. The guitar solo is only an echo of his past self, and he's forced to let it go. What was once a source of passion and creativity is now a reminder of everything he's lost. The way the crow patiently watches, it seems to know that Draven has to bid farewell to his previous life before he can confront his enemies and complete his vengeance.

Born in the 80s.
Child of the 90s.
Still alive in this mad 2022...
But THIS is still the best guitar solo ever made!
The feelings in this sound...the sadness, the shame, the pain, the desperation, the wrath gathering inside and the upcoming reckoning...
You can touch those feelings with your very soul...
And all of that just in this short piece of music...awesome.
RIP Brandon and thank you so much for this masterpiece <3

The only man to play guitar and have pain, anger, and sorrow come with it in one minute. Damn, if you can't feel it then your not human.

This is hands down the most gothically beautiful moment I movie history. Also this has been my ringtone for as long as I can remember

When you see this film, remember Brandon Lee, the lost heir of Jeet Kune Do, legacy of Bruce Lee, beloved actor, and the one and only Crow.

I love how the song progresses from one emotion to another

0:00-0:45 is slow and somber, which represents the Crow’s sadness

0:47 turns from sadness to frustration and rage over who caused his pain in the first place

If you want to play this accurately, you must smash your guitar at the end.

Learned this solo just for my good friend who took his life. I used to drive him home every night when we worked together. We'd drink n smoke, watch 80s n 90s movies until the tv was watching us. His favorite movie was the crow of all movies we'd watched. Mo words, just emotions. All under 2 minutes, and it perfectly portrayed how i felt about the loss i experienced. Fucking miss you Mikey!!

I used to play this during soundcheck at every show in every city a couple of my bands played in. Sometimes people didn't recognize it but it always felt great when they did.
