Cute little clock with its own unsatisfactory personality! Great job! I honestly appreciate you posting the links you mentioned, I might want to peruse Heather and William's eBay store for some cool goodies.

I've 👀 seen Cosmo ⏰ alarm ⏰ clock 📻 radios, and might have 👀 seen a Cosmo flip ⏰ clock. I cannot remember. This Cosmo flip ⏰ clock looks more simple, than frustrating, and without the 📻 radio. Don't need more 👌 knobs and controls to further complicate things. Maybe the controls are hard to use, or they're odd, or cumbersome, adding to this ⏰ clock's frustrations. This is the best Cosmo ⏰ flip ⏰ clock to have, over the one I 👀 saw, with a 📻 radio, back in 1984. I guess this Cosmo flip ⏰ clock is a 1973, but I may be wrong. It also probably needs a neon dial light. Your friend Jeff.

Like other small Japanese items that were made from plastic, it was made to snap together a certain way and never be taken apart. I put mine back together after giving up on the reverse rotation issue. But not before breaking off a brittle plastic tab. The screws do their thing.
I wonder if a capacitor keeps the motor from reversing... That's why i took it apart to begin with.
I like the look of it. It does fine for a while and the neon bulb is neat. Now some clocks are too bright.

The tabs for the minutes broke off sadly on mine, so right now I'm just trying to figure out how to best repair it (Seems like it was afixed in with molded plastic rivets!?). This video was a life saver in trying to get it to open.

For the alarm switch, I ended up having to just shimmy it off. Took me close to 30 minutes trying to get the whole thing apart. Thankfully it was already rough around the edges, so a little extra "character" isn't too big of a concern.

As you mention at 1:30, your video ended up helping me getting the clock apart. It has a noisy motor, but it doesn't have easy access to it. Do you have any suggestions on what I can do?

Hi Mac I was wondering if you could help me out with my clock, the motor on it turns fine and it used to work perfectly but now the motor turns but the time doesn’t change, what should I do?

Hey where can you get those neon tubes at for the flip-clocks do you have any available or can you buy them online or do you have to make them yourself?
