1/4 needs to go up to 15mm as the 15mm in 1/4 is used a lot.

My favorite socket organizers are the Vim rails. They work awesome provided you don’t like to move the rack often because the magnets on the bottom are strong! I just wish the adjustable studs had a hex opening in the top so you could set all the sockets up just right then reach in with an Allen wrench and lock the studs down. And the Vim rails are €£¥$$$$! Once you have them set up they work awesome and never an unused spot.

I like the magnet trays that Snap-On sockets come on for my cart. I like this setup where you have deep and shallow on a single unit.

I'm just a DIY guy but I really like the Socket Boss rail system from Ernst Manufacturing. The sockets can be locked by twisting them.
Bought four trays to ensure I had enough clips so that everything is organized by size and my OCD is kept under control.
I even made a spreadsheet detailing all the sockets I had and how many clips I needed for every socket size in 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2.
It was expensive, around 150$ Canadian for four trays. But really worth it.
Edit: the reason I was willing to pay so much for socket rails is because they are MADE IN THE USA!

Mike I use the Olson aluminum socket rails and you can customize them anyway you want. You can even mix in 3/8 or 1/2 inch.

They should have sent you the screwdriver holder. I think it's their best item.

I have the regular socket tray they sell, I'm pretty happy with it, does the job. Holds my sockets snug they won't fall off

This is how I started storing my 1/4 drive sockets 3/8 drive is on rails I haven’t found a way I like for 1/2 drive as a diy guy I hardly use 1/2 so I wish I would’ve kept the box and stored them in there only 1/2 I regularly use is 7/8 for tire rotation on my truck other than that they’re there if and when I need them.

I could not have empty spots. Just seeing the empty spots had an effect on me. Lol

I got a third job just so I can buy tools that FRM recommends.

I have my full sets mostly in harbor freight trays. I like them better than hansens. The 1/4 metrics on my cart are in a mechanics time saver after I dumped a tray into an engine compartment. Mine doesn't have the sizes so I flip the 10s over and count from there.

Mike did you use to work at QVC?
The only thing missing was the ticker at the bottom of your video.

"don"t like the video go watch something else" I like it, Mike. All creators should have that attitude. Might help to keep the trolls to a minimum.

How deep are the holes for the deep sockets? Just wondering if I could fit my semi deep set or would the sockets not stick out far enough to grab?
Thanks

What don’t you like about the Hansen style socket holders? Great videos! I have learned a lot from you.
