I'm so glad the weather stayed perfect for you guys. That was the only thing that worried me, that it would be overcast.

I felt this was fitting here: “A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools.” ― Douglas Adams

Oh look, it's exactly what we expected, predicted, and has been seen by hundreds of thousands of people for a couple of centuries.

Nice to see the sun going right-to-left - contrast with arctic footage where it's left-to-right. As expected on a globe.

THIS JUST IN: the Earth is a sphere and no one with an IQ over 37 is surprised. Back to you in the studio.

Reading these comments, what frightens me most is that the flat earthers are legally allowed to reproduce.

Wow that is awesome! I am from Iceland and during summer here the sun goes a similar path through out the day. Though around like 2-3am it goes a little under the horizon, because Iceland is only around 65° from the equator, while Antarctica is between 70° and 90° depending on where you are stationed

Can you film this when it's dark out so we can see what The Sun looks like at night?

They should also notice, the shadows of the tripods that are setup are turning anti-clockwise, but in Northern hemisphere, that will be clockwise.
This is again a definitive proof that the Earth is spherical.

I find it slightly ironic that that is what the sun would look like ALL THE TIME if we really were on a flat plane with it circling above us

As the saying goes : "Debating with a flerf is much like playing chess with a pigeon. No matter how skilled you are, the pigeon will always knock the pieces, crap on the board, and fly away to its flock in victory."

That digging sound you hear. That's the sound of flerfs moving the goal posts.

Glad you got to do this Dave. A challenging experience for any photographer but with great results.

The best possible weather you could have asked for. Just perfect.

You can clearly see the four elephants holding up the earth from that angle.

Watching the intense effort and hard work Dave put into this, while fighting hours of exhaustion is truly admirable. Just subscribed.

Imagine the conversation they have with researchers already down there. "What you are you doing"? Were trying to detect neutrinos that were ejected from distant stars using a matrix of sensors buried deep in the ice. What are you doing?", "Proving the Earth is not flat".

How did you survive going south of the 60th latitude? Didn't Bill Gates try to shoot you down with a bazooka?

I'm convinced that 90% of "flat-earthers" are actually trolling while the other 10% really are that stupid
