Thank you! I haven't changed a cabin filter in quite a few years. You described every step and that was extremely helpful. I changed mine in about 5 minutes which proves even a female can do it!

Very clear and straightforward video. You saved me at least $50. Before watching your video, I kept trying to bend the sides inwards so the glovebox swings down, but it wouldn't. Now I know how to remove it. Thank you very much!

My friend and I did this!! We had to trade in our feminine energy for masculine energy, but we did it!! We had to really tighten hard on the left side of the compartment, but we got er done.

Thanks. This was helpful.

As a side note, that attached cord is elasticized and is designed to stretch and pop out to the right. Disconnecting it makes mounting the glove box a LOT easier. Then reattach the cord and you're done!

Thanks dude!! I appreciate people like you that take the time to show us DIYers these simple maintenance tasks. I hear you said 13 months, I always replace my cabin filters every oil change, excessive? Maybe, but it’s a routine I was taught. When you change your oil might aswell do the air filters. The engine air filter doesn’t usually get too bad, sometimes just gotta take a vacuum and suck the leaves and stuff out but the cabin filter is what you breathe. Might aswell change it every 5k

Thanks very much. Your video is very helpful I replace my cabin air filter with a new Bosch filter and it was really easy to follow your instructions. The previous owner must have had some difficulty getting it in as it was all scrunched up. But the half that was uncompressed did catch a lot of dirt.

Thanks for posting this as it was very helpful and spot on. Without this I would have wasted hours trying to press in the back to get the ears to collapse in but these new ones are too stiff.

Thank you for this video, less than 5 minutes to change on my 20 ram 1500. My 16 f150 was a pain having to remove trim pieces & glove box to change and taking a chance on breaking some of the trim tabs. 👍
