The Deborah Linsley case…I don’t understand how someone could hear a woman screaming in the train compartment next to you FOR TWO MINUTES but you don’t hit the alarm…Jesus, I understand being scared and possibly being slow to act, but I can’t understand listening to two minutes of screaming plus the eery silence afterward and not doing something. Plus, that same do-nothing witness saw the suspect limping away, but didn’t come forward until police appealed for help. This wouldn’t be unsolved if that witness wasn’t a trash human being.

The story about the radio waves being able to start fires, makes me think of that weird illness called Havana syndrome that U.S. diplomates and soldiers were getting down in places like Cuba and some other countries. They didn't know what was causing it, but they think that some sort of energy waves were being used secretly by another country.

The key to pronouncing Edinburgh like a Scot is to remember that we talk fast and don't dwell on the vowels. So the way we say it sounds more like “Edin-bra” with the second part said faster and softer than the first. Another place name that always seems to trip up the visitor is “Pitlochry

The Japanese man that died in the 4th mystery, I think deserved to be taken out.
Businessman or not, he was in the wrong with what he did to those families.

At this point you have been corrected so many times by so many people on how to say Edinburgh that you come across as extremely flippant; makes me wince every time. Do you take in your comments and feedback?

Hadn't heard of any of these before so *really* enjoyed them. I am amazed at the story of the plywood covering the vault hole in the wall. And extra security but no one to guard the plywood? That was an open invitation if ever there was one.

Oh wow, I actually live very close to Somes Island, used to pass it on my daily commute in fact. I think the public are allowed to kayak/jet ski to the island but I’m not sure what lies there now, if anything. Rather strange for our government to involve themselves in such experiments, think they usually leave that for the States now lol. Incredibly interesting case I hadn’t heard of despite it being so local!
