Wraith's tac probably resets due to the phase not actually finishing.
So there's a chance this is left as is or an unintended interaction and patched so phasing won't let you breach.

Ash ultimate compared to Wraith, say you have an end circle where it takes some good placement to survive, I believe wraith would come more clutch in making more sheeky portals instead of a straight line

this is by far the best coverage of ash, i subbed. with every character you are pretty much bound to that circle to stand and fight as if you where path or valk and you get hit by it you trying to leave the area you are slowed so much you'll get beamed in the air. for all the defensive legends like caustic or gibraltor it really doesn't matter as you are generally not running away from a fight as you have to just stand your ground. Every mobile character is essentially bound to fight within that ring and can not simply flee. That is legit a fucking devastating tactical considerin so many pathfinders, octanes and valkyries will simply try to escape a battle. The tactical can be used initiating a fight, in the middle of a fight if the enemy tries to flee or at the end of a fight if you are trying to flee yourself. Far out ash is wow.

5:38 you can actually do this with a wraith portal too, if you sit in the port as your q runs out you will take the port and when you come out youll have another q, its not too helpful and is a little finicky, but it can be extremely confusing to someone who doesnt know whats happening.

Quick note: she isn’t replacing wraith, more octane. Since her ult is a one way and wraiths can be used from both sides. He ult is similar to octane as in being a escape or a push

5:37 The same thing happens when standing in the middle of the Wraith's portal. Have for almost a year. The important thing is to stand in the middle of the portal. Then you can use warith's tactical ability as many times as you want. The same goes for Loba. Loba's tactical ability can be reused once inside a wraith portal or something similar to a portal.
