I am an old woman myself and I don't think men know what looks appropriate on us. Long hair NEVER looks good on an older woman. My mum used to call it "mutton dressed as lamb". Yes her own hair is too thin and a nice wig over the top would always make a difference, but a shorter one, perhaps with some colour like red with a light perm in the wig. This would soften her face. Pity nothing can be done with the teeth. Capping would be too expensive. But apart from the hair, she looks nice.
