Honestly the 2-2 result was needed because it gives Maresca a better look at what needs to be done to improve and I feel he already knows his 1st 11 but the lads 100% need more games to truly have his system 2nd nature. I dont think it will take long as they know they potentially could get dropped

I can't read much on the outcome because there was a difference between the two line ups by Enzo, which the second one made too many errors. I was impressed by Marc Guiu, which i think he will stay as a back up striker to Jackson. Nothing surprised me with Romeo Lavia because this what he does! It was unfortunate for him with those injuries but hopefully he stays fit and ball for us. Tosin was solid too. If we click early on, i fear for EPL

James should never invert. He needs to overlap as he does best as do Gusto, it was to congested in the middle.the only one who can do it is Cucu😊 and Guiu is a deep runner and nuisance, he needs early balls on the shoulder of the last defender. Chilli gonna be sold in January he is finished. Broja should never been in the squad, noni is selfish the coach gonna prefer the selfless santos

I also saw a player by the name of Guiu who showed me that he ABSOLUTELY BELONGS to be on the first team!!! In the second half, what I saw was a team that is VERY young and was without the service of our starting LB, our presumably two starting CM in Caicedo and Fernandez as well as the starting RW in Palmer and it showed. However, overall I liked the pace and the new style of play. It was very therapeutic to the eyes. It looked VERY smooth and I can't wait to see how it looks once we have our squad altogether.

I stayed up till 4AM. Used most of that time to push work so I don't have to during the day 😅 I'm 50/50 about the game. There's an equal split of worry and pride. The players look like they care, it's been a while since we've had an involved Chelsea squad. But we seemed rigid and predictable at times, the EPL is a different ball game. They are going to see through us.
