If you’re a international student, you’ll definitely have a better chance getting in. If you’re a science student, you can transfer there & get a monthly pay of about $1, 150 and student accommodation, and classes in English. If you get the MEXT scholarship they’ll pay for tuition for any university in Japan that accepts the MEXT scholarship, all your fees including round trip fare, and monthly pay of about $900. The MEXT pays for 5 years, unless you choose direct placement, you must be in Japan your first year learning Japanese, and then you have to take the entry exam for Japanese proficiency (if you didn’t transfer in to the GSC, Global Science
Course which is taught in English) to get accepted into your chosen universities (up to 3).

Majority of universities (99%) has classes in Japanese, so you HAVE TO KNOW JAPANESE to attend school & succeed in schools, but again it depends on the school & discipline you’re majored in, hence why you have to take Japanese classes for a year.

There’s a lot of international student scholarships that’s pay about 50-98% of your scholarships. If you can get into the universities you’ll be paying about $5, 000 yearly in tuition. Even as a Grad student you’re paying nothing compared to the west.

I basically learned nothing. You just repeat the same points over and over in different ways. In your video about KyotoU it was the same. I bet it's the same for all of your SYS videos, but I don't know. You seem to have no actual knowledge of the schools and just ramble some made up stuff about how they are the hardest universities in the world. We know that. Do your research and provide us with some value if you want us to subscribe to you.

Not impossible but you will need pretty good japanese and be the best you can. Don't put to much effort into getting into tokyo U, there are plenty of other schools that might even be better for you.

Maybe it is tougher to get into the most prestigious college in Korea, China or India when we just look at the acceptance rate, but that doesn’t necessarily conclude that their entrance exams are harder than UT’s. I have looked at problems from gaokao and JEE advanced, but they seem to be difficult in different ways, meaning that each country is looking for different types of students. Gaokao (problems from I, II, and III) requires students to find answers quickly, JEE advanced requires students to know “college-level” knowledge, and Japanese exams requires students to think complex problems. If you cannot agree with what I have just said about the problems on Japanese entrance exams being complex, let me tell you that Tokyo Institute of Technology, for example, has asked one of the IMO problems, and that problem was considered as one of the easier ones, which applicants needed to solve in order to score high enough on the exam. Let’s not insult each other by saying which country is harder or better but be sympathetic to students who need to undergo these harsh Asian education system.

If anyone needs translation for problems on an entrance exam, I might be able to help you with that. Let me know! (Although I’m not sure whether I will notice your reply.) Good luck, everyone!
