How Varicose Veins Develop 😱 #shorts #viralvideo - creativelearning3d

Varicose veins are swollen, twisted veins that you can see just under the surface of the skin, most commonly in the legs. They occur when the valves in the veins, which normally help blood flow back to the heart, become weakened or damaged. When these valves don't work properly, blood can flow backward and pool in the veins. This pooling causes the veins to enlarge, making them appear bulging and blue or purple. Varicose veins can cause discomfort, pain, and even lead to more serious circulatory problems if left untreated. They’re often the result of factors like aging, prolonged standing, obesity, and genetic predisposition.

Possible Solution:
1.Heavy running exercises on daily basis
2. Chk your LIPID PROFILE
High LDL OR TRIGLYCERIDE may be responsible for this disease.
Follow the diet plan suggested for the patients who have disturbed lipid profile...Thanks!

My father, which is really really sporty and fit, had them, probably because of genetics, and they had to be operated because they were a health risk!

My stepdad had them on his leg, he went through an operation where they basically pulled those veins out. They gave him local anesthesia, but he said he felt everything..

I have DVT too, and was advised to do exercises but not heavy ones since it might cause more damage.
So maybe walking a little
Make sure not to stay sitted for long nor lying down for long. Should also know the diet especially when on blood thinners, and to make use of the compression stockings.

Lemme know of any other advise🙏

OK, but what causes the valves not to work properly is it just something that comes with age because I’ve never seen someone Young have varicose veins

I mean...thats kind of how they develop...one of the ways. Its a bit more complicated than that, as it's not just about valves; hormones and cytokines play a major role, inflammation, immune function, very importantly muscle tissue. Around the the veins. The one way valves in veins are how your body returns blood to the R side of the heart. The valves only allow blood to move forward, but veins also expand and stretch, and should return to normal. Its easiest to think of the heart as two separate pumps: One very gently pulling blood through your veins to it, and the other side, under higher pressure, sends freshly oxygenated blood out to cells. The veins side is the right side of the heart, and if the right side of the heart gets weak, it can't bring blood to itself as well. At any given time, around 2/3 of your total blood volume is in the vein side, an only 1/3 in the higher pressure artery side.

Arteries have muscle layers to help move blood, veins dont. Those valves help bring blood back but what really does it, is all the muscle surrounding the veins. The large veins in your legs for example are surrounded by muscles like the calves and hamstrings. So walking, using those muscles, squeezes those veins and helps blood return. Thats part of why sitting for too long, or not exercising, is so bad on your heart, lungs, veins etc.

Combine those factors with aging, which loses the elasticity in blood vessels so they don't stretch. And it leads to this.

Also hormones that increase nitric oxide, which is why body builders like Nitric oxide, because it dilated veins and makes them bulge (also why your grandpa takes nitroglycerin tablets for chest pain..because it dilates those heart blood vessels). Thats also why big torturous bulging veins like the ones in the video here, develop and are far more likely in steroid users, and people with very specific hormone balances. This video wasn't really varicose veins, as people know them. Really when people talk about varicose veins, they mean the purple veins you see under skin. These are torturous veins trapped in muscle.

They also don't really cause a problem when they clot because they don't have great blood flow anyway lol. Funny that the video is labeled as hemorrhoids...because these big veins are MUCH more like hemorrhoids than varicose veins which are often a lot more to do with fluctuating estrogen levels and cholesterol based hormones. Lipids panel stuff like somebody said below. Cholesterol based hormones like testosterone, estrogen, etc have almost no dependent factor to your blood lipid levels...your body makes them regardless

If you wanna get techy its cause a back up of bloodflow are these later veins get smaller and deeper as they ascend if theres blockage upstream is causes blood to back up causing varicose veins
Sclerotherapy, mesh repair along other things can be done to fix it

When you have them removed I'm assuming your body creates more veins to replace them, how long does it typically take and are you fatigued for awhile until more are created?

I am 26 and I have several. Genetics from both sides. I elevate my legs when I can, but nothing really helps.
